While the exact cause of colic is unknown, trapped wind is thought to be a possible cause. One dose of Infacol contains 40mg of simeticone, which works to relieve the pain and discomfort associated with trapped wind by joining all of the little gas bubbles inside the stomach, creating larger bubbles that your baby can easily bring up as wind.
