Bio-Oil
Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare oil formulated to help improve the appearance of scars (including surgical and acne scars), stretchmarks and uneven skin tone. It contains a blend of vitamins A and E, plant-based oils (chamomile, lavender, rosemary and calendula) and the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil, which helps to reduce the overall oiliness of the formulation and makes it easily absorbed. Consistent use for a minimum of three months is recommended for visible improvement. Results vary between individuals.
Important Safety Information
- Bio-Oil is for external use only. Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds
- If you are pregnant, Bio-Oil can be applied to the skin to help reduce the appearance of stretchmarks, but consult your midwife or GP if you have concerns
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs

How long does Bio-Oil take to work on scars?
Bio-Oil should be applied twice daily for a minimum of three months to see results. For older scars, longer use may be needed. Results vary between individuals, and while Bio-Oil can help improve the appearance of scars and stretchmarks, it may not remove them completely.
